Lac Ste. Anne helped build Fat Boyz Fishing Adventures.
It is where we developed our high-action fishing style, produced multiple 200-fish days and recorded one ridiculous day with more than 250 walleye in approximately six hours.
Now it is time for the next chapter.
For the 2027 fishing season, Fat Boyz Fishing Adventures is making the Lac La Biche region our new home base.
Lac La Biche gives us access to bigger water, multiple fish species and a massive amount of fishing opportunity.
We are bringing everything people already love about Fat Boyz:
The lake is changing.
The Fat Boyz experience is not.
Because we are ready for something bigger.
Lac La Biche is one of Alberta's most exciting fishing destinations, with opportunities to target walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, lake whitefish and burbot.
It is big water with different depths, structures, shorelines and seasonal fishing patterns.
That means more water to explore.
More patterns to figure out.
More places for fish to hide.
And more reasons for the Fat Boyz to go hunting.
Our primary focus will continue to be putting guests on walleye and northern pike, but every trip will depend on the season, conditions and what the fish are doing that day.
We cannot control the weather.
We cannot control the fish.
But we can control how hard we work to find them.
Anybody can take you for a boat ride.
The Fat Boyz want to take you fishing.
That means checking conditions, reading the electronics, changing locations, adjusting presentations and doing whatever we reasonably can to get rods bending.
We do not drop anchor in one dead location and wait six hours for a miracle.
If the fish move, we move.
If the pattern changes, we change.
If one technique is not working, we try something else.
Fishing is never completely predictable.
Our effort is.
We have enough confidence in our ability to put you on fish that we are willing to guarantee it.
